More Than Just Pancakes – The Original Pancake House DFW Focuses on People and the Community
Dallas, TX – November 11, 2020 – In a year that has forced businesses to rethink their business strategies, The Original Pancake House DFW (OPH-DFW) has held the course and remained focused on their key ingredient – people. As part of their foundation and core values, Co-Owners Mark Davis Bailey and Jonathan Seyoum built a business that focuses their Guests, their Associates and their community. Click for Photos
It is this focus and care for others that leads OPH-DFW to partner with Mary Kay Beauty Consultants every October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Mary Kay Representatives present OPH-DFW guests with a flower to help raise awareness around the issue of breast cancer. “Cancer has impacted so many lives – from our families, to our Associates, to our Guests. We want to take the time to cheer those on in the fight, congratulate the survivors and remember those who are no longer with us,” noted Jonathan Seyoum, Co-Owner of The Original Pancake House DFW.
The Original Pancake House DFW will focus on local Veterans November 11-13 as they show appreciation for their service by offering a complimentary entrée and a BOGO offer on the Red, White and Blue Buttermilk Pancakes. Veterans are asked to present a military ID or proof of service. “Veterans Day always brings back memories of one of our most loyal Guests and Veterans, Maurice “Maury” Schermann, a 95-year old Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a part of the OPH-DFW family and is greatly missed,” commented Mark Davis Bailey, OPH-DFW Co-Owner.
Next month, OPH-DFW will help support the Homeless to Hopeful Virtual Fashion Show on December 10th to benefit UGM Dallas Center of Hope Women & Children’s Shelter. The fashion show featuring world-renowned designers, Danny Nguyen and Terri Ives, will raise funds for the homeless shelter while celebrating the incredible resilience and determination of the women. Complimentary tickets are available for the event at www.projectvintagerunway.com.
