Tyler was the best!! He was warm + welcoming when he greeted us. Also, I was having trouble choosing a topping and he offered to bring be a sampling of all three. Excellent food, excellent service!

Amazing all around experience for our first visit! Kelly is awesome! She didn’t flinch at my special requests. She helped explain all these interesting menu items. She also kept my coffee hot! Will absolutely be back!

Kelly was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure our order was completed exactly how we needed it. She also checked in to ensure everything was prepared to our satisfaction once it arrived. I highly recommend this restaurant—the food was great, and if you can, ask for Kelly as your server. She’ll definitely take care of you.

My mom and I were warmly welcomed by the greeter, and immediately seated in a clean, comfy booth. This is a classic diner meets grandma’s homestyle excellence… in atmosphere, food quality, and attentive service. Tyler brought it home even further with his kindness, attention to detail, and desire to ensure our experience was perfect. The Original Pancake House in Grosse Pointe Michigan was a long time favorite for my mom, and she was excited to find it here in Dallas on our girls getaway. This particular restaurant delivered the nostalgia for her and and amazing experience for us both! Today we returned for day two and asked for Tyler in particular. We were short on time but he was able to snap up our drink and food order, bringing us everything within less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!!

Group of 6 for breakfast and the service was incredible. We were seated quickly despite the full restaurant. Our waiter Tyler was friendly and fun. He quickly picked up on a birthday and made the girl of honor feel very special. Food drinks came quickly. All needs were anticipated in advance. We will absolutely come back again even though we live farther away. Great experience today!

Yes — the Northwest Highway & Midway location completed a full interior remodel in October 2025, celebrated with a VIP Re-Grand Opening on October 30, 2025. The event was attended by Dallas Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Gay Donnell Willis, longtime loyal guests, and team members — including four associates with a combined 120+ years of service at this single location: Robert Pool and Florindo Salas (35 years each), and Carlos Garcia and Senornino Salas (25 years each). The restaurant is a freshly refreshed space that still carries the same warm neighborhood spirit it always has.
